About the Global Standards and Labeling Database
This global database is a product of a sponsorship agreement between APEC, which operates and is responsible for APEC ESIS web site, and the Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program (CLASP), an international NGO focusing on energy standards and labeling. The goal of the sponsorship agreement is to assist stakeholders (policymakers, manufacturers, suppliers, researchers, NGOs, etc.) in APEC economies to have access to accurate and timely information on technical requirements for appliances and equipment sold throughout the world.
APEC is solely responsible for updating and maintaining the database of technical energy standards and labeling programs in the APEC economies.
CLASP is solely responsible for updating and maintaining the database of technical energy standards and labeling programs in non-APEC economies.
