The initial development of the APEC-ESIS web site during 2002 was funded by APEC's Energy Working Group. Since then, annual funding has come in the form of contributions from APEC member economies.
Core funding for web site maintenance and development during 2004 is funded by the Government of Chinese Taipei and Natural Resources Canada, with additional contributions from the Australian Greenhouse Office and New Zealand. Data for additional economies and significant in-kind contributions in the form of data, labor, and cost-sharing have also been provided by the Collaborative Labeling and Appliance Standards Program (CLASP), an international non-profit organization dedicated to advancing energy standards and labeling in developing economies.
